Yesterday at 7:10 a.m., CWA Local 1103, CWA Local 1109, and CWA District 1 were abruptly notified that Optimum intends to sell the fulfillment side of its business to MasTec North America, Inc. This was the first and only notice the union received about this major decision, despite its clear impact on our members, our work, and our collective bargaining rights.  Any rumor — or any claim by the company or management — that the union was notified in advance is patently false. It is simply a lie.

Today, CWA received formal notice that Optimum (Altice) has made what it calls an “entrepreneurial decision” to sell the fulfillment side of its business to MasTec North America, Inc.
